My instructor diagnosed the problem: I was looking only beyond the front bumper and not down the road. The same is true today. There are many events issues which are significant but are pulling us away from our focus.  What we have witnessed in the past months (violence, debate over masks, challenges of votes) are symptoms but not the cause. The true "dis-ease" is a broken system.  We can easily get distracted from our goal by these issues and pulled in many different directions. The result is an uneven ride. Let us keep our COS targets clearly in our vision for this year: term limits, fiscal responsibility, and limited government. Success and cures in these directions will help solve the other symptoms of national distress. As Stephen Covey stated, "The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing." Convention of States Arkansas leaders meet quarterly and participate in bi-monthly webinar conversations to hone our arrows. Senator Cotton, Senator Boozman, and Representative Womack from Arkansas stayed on the constitutional course rather than veering off the road. I have heard many of my liberal friends sharing our sentiments of term limits. This is the time for action, not wringing of hands over high temperatures or itching or malaise. COS already has the vaccine prepared. Let's get it distributed. #|PETITION_WIDGET{petition_tag:;coalition_id:;anedot_url:}|#
