Conroe ISD has somehow dropped the ball and illegal pornographic books have ended up on the shelves in their school district. Several Conroe residence came forth one night last week to stand up to the local school board and, in many cases, educate the school board on childhood development, the definition of pornography and pedophilia. 

The simple truth is, federal entities have placed age appropriate labels to everything from movies to music and everything in between. How is it that books containing pornographic material, in written word and depicted, end up on the shelves of our schools for our children to see? How is it that books don't have these labels?

All across Texas, multiple books have been found in school libraries such as ‘Lawn Boy,’ ‘Gender Queer,’ and ‘Out of Darkness’ on the shelves. These books and others include pornographic mature audience only type pictures and illustrations as well as text descriptions of sex acts. One book graphically describes two 10-year-old boys performing oral sex on each other and another describing in detail an adult molesting a child.

In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9LpLtbthE4|this video]], at time mark 1:41:26 our very own Dawn Bednarz and Tina Orebaugh walked the walk as they stepped up to the mic to address the Conroe School Board and let them know that they are breaking the law and encouraged them to do the right thing, and remove the pornographic materials from school libraries and protect our children.
