Steven G. Xiarhos (//R-Barnstable// 5th)]], has officially filed "Resolutions Calling on Article V of the United States Constitution for the convening of a convention of states in the 193rd session of the Massachusetts General Court." The Resolution is known as [[https://malegislature.gov/Bills/193/HD206|HD.206]]. This identifier should be referenced in any and all communication with Massachusetts representatives and senators concerning the Resolution.  Now is the time to begin building upon our success during the previous session of the General Court. Write and call your representatives to urge them not only to consider supporting HR.206, but to co-sponsor the Resolution. Seek them out to discuss Article V and the vital role that state legislatures can play in limiting the overarching power and reach of the federal government.  The last session saw Massachusetts become the first "blue state" to pass the Convention of States Resolution out of committee. Let's do all we can to make sure that this session sees the Resolution go even further.  Make sure you've signed the COS petition and [[conventionofstates.com/take_action|see how you can get involved]].
