It is critical that people get involved and take the next step to volunteer. There are so many ways to help out! You can decide how much time and energy you're willing to contribute. Whether you prefer talking with people at events or doing computer work at home, we could use your help. Although that page lists more formal roles, there are many other ways you can help. ==== Current Volunteer Needs in Maryland: ==== [[https://conventionofstates.com/take_action/district_captain|District Captain]] - This is the most important volunteer position and currently we have only a handful of districts with active District Captains in Maryland. [[https://conventionofstates.com/take_action/social_media_warrior|Social Media Warrior]] [[https://conventionofstates.com/take_action/events_coordinator|State Events Coordinator]] We also need folks who are willing to man a table/booth at carnivals, fairs, gun shows, car shows, exhibitions and other public events. These events are terrific opportunities to get the word out to many people, but our volunteers can only do so much. We'd love your help in this regard.
