Thanks to Janet for hosting. Eleven people attended. \\ \\ We discussed some of our thoughts about the current direction of the country. Our greatest concerns were that we are on a path of becoming a totally socialist country and that our Federal Government, the Press, Academia, and our courts are working in concert toward that end. These were held in common by all of the attendees to be serious threats to our freedom to live as established by our founders in the Declaration of Independence and the U. S. Constitution.\\        \\ Glenn Barone, Regional Director CJW, reviewed the mission and structure of the New Jersey Convention of States (COS) organization providing us with a tool that is large enough to address our concerns because it is based on Article V of the US Constitution! \\       \\ Bruce Nelson, District Captain D-21 set some objectives for our COS Volunteers in Central Jersey West: - To identify a key volunteer in each town in our legislative districts to lead and obtain pertinent information for their town, such as their organizations, events, and to set up COS information booths. - To locate places to have meetings, i.e. schools, churches, clubs, diners, etc. - To attend school board and town council meetings, reporting back with the objective of finding like-minded people to join them, motivating or influencing them for the purpose of teaching the right things in our schools.  Information was provided for the NJ 2021 Legislative Candidates with a purpose to meet with them to present COS and learn where they stand on term limits, fiscal restraints and limiting the scope and jurisdiction of government.  \\ \\ All volunteers were encouraged to complete their free training in Convention of States University. \\ \\ We all left the meeting motivated to take action and determined to make a difference in our own local communities.
