There are a number of volunteer activities that can contribute to our mission as a passed state to "Build an engaged army of self-governing grassroots activists”\r\r\\
This document will help you to know how to conduct one of those activities, namely using a smart phone to call Convention of States supporters (those who have signed our petition just as you have) and read them a script that displays on your phone. The script might ask the caller to contact their representative to urge their support of Convention of States or perhaps invite the supporter to an upcoming Convention of States sponsored event, etc.\r\\

TelePatriot is part of an app that can be downloaded on your phone (iPhone or Android). Campaigns to call groups of people to relay a message using TelePatriot are called Missions. A Mission consists of a list of supporters to call, their phone numbers, and a script indicating what to tell the person which appears on your phone when they answer\\

**Become a TelePatriot Volunteer **

**Volunteer Activity Plan**

Fellow Patriot,

You have chosen to volunteer in a cause to restore our Federal government to what the framers of our \\
Constitution intended using Article V of that constitution, a protection provided by the framers to check\\
a government that has moved beyond its limited and enumerated powers.  You can play a most \\
important part in this effort as a volunteer to help us get the job done.

There are a number of volunteer activities that can contribute to our mission as a passed state to "**Build \\

This document will help you to know how to conduct one of those activities, namely using a smart \\
phone to call Convention of States supporters (those who have signed our petition just as you have) and\\
read them a script that displays on your phone.  The script might ask the caller to contact their \\

TelePatriot is part of an app that can be //downloaded// on your phone (iPhone or Android).  Campaigns to\\
call groups of people to relay a message using TelePatriot are called //**Missions**//.  A Mission consists of a\\

appears on your phone when they answer.

This method of communicating a desired action to Convention of States supporters has been found to \\
be very successful and is easy to do.  It allows you to make a difference in your state or other states.  \\
For example, when the Convention of States resolution to call a convention is being considered in state \\
legislative committees or the House or Senate, TelePatriot allows you to call Convention of States \\
supporters in that state and perhaps in a specific district to contact their legislator and urge them to vote\\
for the resolution.  

To become a TelePatriot volunteer you must first[[https://conventionofstates.com/volunteer_application| Apply to Become a Convention of States Volunteer \\
]]and then be assigned to the TelePatriot role when your application is processed by someone in the \\
Convention of States leadership.  At that time you will receive specific training on how to download \\
the COSAction app and use TelePatriot.

Once you have been assigned the TelePatriot role you will, from time to time, be contacted by email to \\
participate in a Mission.//** **//The email will explain the purpose of the Mission, the name of the Mission \\
and the time frame in which it needs to be accomplished.  If you agree to participate in the Mission you\\
will open the TelePatriot app on your phone, select the Mission and will then begin calling the people \\
on your list one at a time as they pop up on your screen, read the script when they answer, and then \\
after the call is completed you will select from a list of options indicating whether the person \\
responded, didn't answer, etc.  You can stop at any time and then start up again when it is convenient.

Remember, you have the option whether or not to participate in a particular Mission recognizing that \\
your life schedule may prevent you from helping at a busy time but when you do your help\\
is very valuable and contributes to the mission of building the grassroots army.
