(Austin, TX—June 8, 2021) Convention of States Action, in partnership with The Trafalgar Group—one of America’s most accurate pollsters in 2016, 2018 and 2020—is releasing the results of a new national survey. Results were from surveys conducted June 3rd thru June 6th of 1,000 or more likely 2022 election voters.

“Voters are watching the unravelling of Dr. Anthony Fauci, most notably amidst mounting evidence that COVID-19 was leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. Further, Fauci’s potential connection to funding research at the lab in question is creating a cloud of doubt over our entire federal health establishment,” said Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States Action. “Thus, when federal, state, and even local officials insist that parents must get children vaccinated in order to attend school, Americans—regardless of political party—just aren’t buying what they’re selling.”

KEY INSIGHT: Bipartisan Support for Parental Rights Regarding COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates in Schools

64% of American voters say parents should decide regarding COVID-19 vaccine for their children, while 16% say state or local schools should decide, and 15.3% say the federal government should decide.
82.9% of Republican voters say parents should decide regarding COVID-19 vaccine for their children, 8.3% say state or local schools should decide, and 5.7% say the federal government should decide.
59.4% of Independent voters say parents should decide regarding COVID-19 vaccine for their children, 21.8% say state or local schools should decide, and only 11.1% say the federal government should decide.
49.7% of Democrat voters say parents should decide regarding COVID-19 vaccine for their children, 19.2% say state or local schools should decide, and 26.8% say the federal government should decide.

A previous poll conducted in May of 2020 found that voters have lost confidence in Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Federal Government on COVID-19.
