Last week House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted a call-to-action to her followers:
She didn’t get the response she was looking for.
Dozens of individuals responded to her tweet with their negative experiences, explaining how Obamacare has caused healthcare costs to skyrocket and calling for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. One person said their insurance premiums had reached $800 per month; another said she wasn’t able to get surgery because her deductible was too high:

Americans know politicians like Pelosi are out of touch with the needs of middle-class Americans. But now it looks like Republicans are falling into the same trap, proposing a big-government, top-down solution to the nation’s healthcare troubles.
Fortunately, the states and the people have a recourse: an Article V Convention of States. A Convention of States has the power to propose amendments to the Constitution that limit the power of the federal government. These amendments can clarify the Founder’s original vision of a small, limited national government and make sure DC gets out of the healthcare business.
